I purchased this skirt to run in and my first impression is a good one. First of all, the pros. The material is really soft and lightweight. It is perfect for hot weather. The length of the skirt is perfect for me. I like a little longer length than some of the running shorts I see and this one hits the mark…not too short but not long either. The color is true to the picture (I ordered the green, which is really fluorescent yellow). Now for the cons. I used the size chart to find my size and according to that I should wear a large. However I ordered a medium (my normal size) because of reviews saying it runs big. I could probably size down even more to a small. The material is soft but it is not as compressive as I like. Perhaps that’s to do with the size but I would like a bit more fitted. Finally the material is a bit thinner than other athletic clothing I have. With the skirt layered over the shorts they are not see through, however the individual layers are more see through than I care for. I will still wear these out but I will be cautious!
