These skirts are like the SWEATPANTS of the miniskirt world! It’s made of a lightweight material that’s meant to be worn during the warmer months. The under-shorts are made in an extra-breathable mesh fabric.I don’t play tennis or golf, but like to wear casual minis as streetwear, and when I ride my bike, I wear shorts underneath, but wanted skirts w/ them BUILT-IN, so it was a delight when I came across my first tennis skirt in the Amazon Vine queue! ?I received two different styles of tennis skirts thru Amazon Vine, then liked them so much that I ordered them in MULTIPLE colors. *THIS* skirt wasn’t offered thru Amazon Vine, but was suggested as a related item. It looked cute & I love army green (one of my signature colors), so I bought one as a trial—my intent was to see if this was also a pair that I wanted to buy in all the color offerings for my skin tone.I love the fit & feel of these so much that I ended up ordering FIVE MORE of this skirt in other colors! ? I’d say these are my FAVORITE style, so far. They’re very comfortable & flattering—I forget I have them on because they sit on my body so well, and allow me to move freely. No adjusting the fabric or ever being self-conscious about the fit. These are uber-comfy, so you’ll want to LIVE in them. That means that unless you’re a strictly cotton-wearing (i.e., breathable, natural fabric) home-lounger, at this affordable price, you can get these skirts in EVERY. SINGLE. COLOR. offered that flatters you.For my fellow short-torsoed sisters, just FOLD DOWN the waistband once, if the skirt sits up too high—it doesn’t distort the shape or fall of the garment. For all the ladies who carry just a few things, there are TWO pockets sewn into the sides of the shorts—the upside down one is a ball pocket (for tennis players ?), and the regular one is big enough for a standard smartphone—along w/ a zippered slit pocket @ rear center of waistband for a key.I like to wear these w/ SLIP-ON SNEAKERS, and if I want to be warmer or just mix up the styling, I put on my CANVAS SNEAKER BOOTS (or other knee-hi boots, once it cools down more). On top, I wear my “uniform,” which is a men’s size M wifebeater. I belt it @ my hip bone, since I have a short torso (it balances me out visually).NOT COLORFAST- As this is made of synthetic fabric, I thought that it’d be colorfast by default, but do be aware that the color does run, so wash w/ like colors.A WARNING FOR WHOM IT’S RELEVANT:- I guess because I usually either wear longer bottoms, or bottoms that absorb more sweat, I realized that by wearing these short skorts when you ride a bike, unless you’ve got some kind of sweat-absorbing seat cover (in which case I hope it’s washed after each ride!), you’ll be experiencing some minor SLIPPING & SLIDING. I’m not a fast rider, and am not typically in situations where I could be in danger, due to this excess sweat that’s not being absorbed, but it’s certainly NOT safe if you can’t remain firmly seated in position, so keep that in mind if you decide to wear this for a bike ride.Arrives in a plastic bag. Just give the garment a very generous spritz of water, then smooth out all the wrinkles w/ your hand before your first wearing.———————————————————————WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS?:YES…most definitely would! ? I love them SO much that I ordered them in MULTIPLE colors! Great price, looks durable (I hand-wash them, but maybe place them in delicates bag, if machine-washing).———————————————————————SIZE PURCHASED, MY MEASUREMENTS & PERSONAL FIT: —> Size M hits @ mid-thigh on me, for a ~5’2” woman w/ 28” inseam. WAIST = 28”, HIPS = 35 1/2”MATERIAL & WORKMANSHIP: —> Stretchy lightweight material made of nylon & spandex blend, solid stitching. I’d hand-wash it or machine-wash it in a delicates bag—make sure there’s nothing around in the washer tub (like a zipper or sharp/pointy/protruding detailing) that might SNAG on it.WHO IS THIS SKIRT FOR & *NOT* FOR?: —> If you’re very thick-waisted & have a generous pooch that you’re not intent on showing off, maybe pass on this, and opt for garments w/ more tummy-control in a stiffer fabric.I got this since I work weekends at a golf course. It’s super cute and comfortable and easy to style with whatever type of top you want to wear. It washes well and I didn’t have any issues with it shrinking. It has shorts underneath with pockets, and not at all see throughI tried buying her a tennis dress two years ago but she didn't like it. This is something she's actually willing to wear and she loves the pockets to hold her cell phone and at least 1 tennis ball, and the length is good. I got her a longer one of a different brand but it went practically all the way to her knees (she's 5'2"). The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because she's only worn it twice so I don't know how it will hold up. The greatest endorsement I can get it though, is I'm ordering another one.I seriously love this skirt, great for tennis, pickleball, or just to look cute and run errands. I am a classic size medium in bottoms, so this fits perfectly around my waist, butt, and good length. I am 5’6” for reference.I am usually a size small and this fit perfectly for tennis. The only thing I would mention is that this skirt is high-waisted but is made of thin material so it's not going to suck anything at the waist. It is not thin in the sense that it is see-through.The perfect fit so spring and summer, flattering and love the pockets in the shorts under the skirt. You don’t have to be a tennis player to wear these. Suitable to go into grocery store or other errands.Over all I like the skirt but the shorts underneath are a little. They are mesh instead of spandexthe skirt is amazing to play in. i got the black and white one. but the one thing i’ll say is bad is that the shorts underneath keep on riding up my thighs. so every time that happens i have to pull them down again. 4/5⭐️
